Puppy update:
Her name is Jewel.
She lives with us.

For a couple of years (or more),

Anne has been drawing swirls and ivy

on her legs and ankles.

This is from a year ago . . .

Yesterday evening, she made it permanent.

Lee and Emma provided moral support

and Emma provided photos and commentary
via text messages.

still here and still no name.

My 4-year-old phone was dying.
